Hey, I’m Miriam, a Canadian and French native, a wanderer of all nations, and one half of the brain behind this little project! Ever since I took my first big step outside my home country, I’ve been fascinated by the world and all its uniqueness—from food and culture to landscapes and people.
A master of none, but someone who gives everything a try, I’ve spent the last 20 years weaving travel into my life whenever possible and seeking out unique, off-the-beaten-path experiences, both on my own and with the people closest to me.
After all, what could be better than sharing your stories and adventures with others?
Fun facts about me: I’ve travelled to 33 countries (and counting), made it a tradition to buy chocolate and go for a run in every one of them, I’ve completed a triathlon (yes, I had to sneak that in somewhere!) and lived in 7 cities. 😄

I’m Nikita, a Spanish and Swedish travel geek and the other half of this project. Through all stages of my life, travelling has remained a constant that I truly couldn’t imagine living without.
I’m an enthusiast for turquoise beaches, bustling cities, tropical sceneries and the feeling that the world is as big as the places you visit.
As a Spaniard, I also love exploring the beautiful cities and magical islands in my own country!
Fun facts about me: I’ve travelled to 27 countries, rain is my favorite weather (I’m not even kidding) and my idea of a perfect day is laying by a cristal clear beach with a gripping novel in my hands. I haven’t eaten meat in 9 years (wehoo 🌱) and am the oldest of four siblings.
The Besties met on the very first day of their master’s degree in Amsterdam and instantly clicked! During our year studying International Relations (do you see a theme here?), we grew closer through our shared curiosity about the world.
Since then, we’ve explored 12 new countries together and collected countless adventures along the way—from staying in five-star hotels in Manila to answering a 12:30 a.m. wake-up call for a sunrise hike in Indonesia, to a slightly terrifying flight experience (we’re both quite afraid of flying, so surviving that one felt like an achievement!).
Between the two of us, we speak five languages, have travelled to 44 countries, and still have many more ahead!
